Northern Rhone En Primeur 2019
The Northern Rhône has been on a roll of incredible vintages since 2015, so it is no surprise that the region is garnering ever more interest each year. This is the homeland of Syrah and Viognier, producing some of the truly great wines of France, if not the world. What is particularly refreshing about the wines of the Northern Rhône is that they are often so well-priced. For many they continue to fall slightly under the radar, resulting in fantastic value for money for the savvy buyer.
2019, despite being a hot year, has produced some wines of ethereal elegance but with the hallmark power these wines are famed for. Confusingly, but understandably in a region encompassing many different styles of wine, we will also be offering the 2018 vintage reds from Gaylord Machon in Crozes Hermitage.
These latest releases are impressive across the board, wines that will delight you over the years ahead.
