2018 Chianti Classico Castello di Rampolla

Style – Dry, Red, Medium to Full Bodied
Grapes – Sangiovese
Region – Tuscany, Italy

Winemaking - Hand harvested, sorted and de-stemmed. Fermented in concrete tanks and eggs. Aged in concrete for 8 months and 12Hl oak barrels for 12 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

What it tastes like - Packed full of sour cherry, lavender and black fruits with ripe and full tannins, this is a powerhouse of a chianti. Impressive now, it will reward cellaring as well.
