We were all very impressed when we tasted this a little earlier in the year, thinking it a very well structured wine for the money. A little digging around and you see why, 50% of the wine comes from young Cote Rotie vineyards that don't yet make the cut. The nose is impressive, lots of black fruits with crushed violets, lovely flow and fine tannins, good to go now but will evolve nicely if left for a year or two to grow into itself.
