2021 Nuits-St.-Georges, La Petite Charmotte, Marchand-Tawse

Last year’s production was slightly increased, with three and a half barrels produced from a vineyard on the Vosne side of the village. 30% whole bunches and 33% new oak. The vineyard is farmed organically. Juicy raspberry fruit is to the fore here, very much the sophisticated side of Nuits. Finessed tannins add immediate appeal to the palate, requiring minimal cellaring and likely offering excellent value
