The Premier Cru Sous Frétille is a white wine oasis tucked away behind the hill of Corton, surrounded by the Pinot Noir vines of Pernand-Vergelesses. It is designated a Premier Cru for Chardonnay, with a steep slope and relatively shallow topsoil over white marl and limestone. Lively and energetic, fleshed out with white peach fruit and mineral notes. Finessed and elegant, it will be challenging to resist upon delivery.
