2021 Puligny-Montrachet, 1er Cru Les Pucelles, Maison Roche de Bellene

Just one barrel will be produced in 2021. The most iconic of the Puligny Premier Crus is located next to Grand Crus Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet. So mineral and precise, there is an excellent expression of terroir here, from the purity of fruit to the finish, which is piercingly mineral and mouth watering. Difficult to resist in the first flush of youth, but there are rewards for the patient.
