2021 Chassagne-Montrachet, 1er Cru Clos St. Jean, Maison Roche de Bellene

A perfumed nose of citrus zest and crushed stones. Mineral-driven acidity drives the palate forward; this is classically dry and perfectly balanced between austerity and opulence. There is tremendous energy on the finish; this is a lovely Premier Cru.
