What it tastes like - Syrah from high up above Ampuis, just above the Cote Rotie appellation. Fruit forward and fresh from the off, vibrant violet, raspberry and touch of dark cherry, again it has the purity and elegance of wines much more expensive, this is really good winemaking from a future force, the Bott's are in good form.
