Klein Kasteelberg Grenache Noir/Mouvedre, Swartland, South Africa, 75cl

The Majestic Kasteelberg Mountain stands sentinel over the fertile Riebeek Valley below, offering a rich diversity of soils, where hand-selected vineyards of lesser-known varieties thrive under the dry-land conditions of the Swartland wine region. Klein Kasteelberg showcases terroir diversity through blends of limited release varietals like Mourvèdre, Marsanne and Grenache.

Vineyards vinified sepeartely then blended prior to bottling. Grape must cold soaked for a day then inoculated with selected yeast. Fermentation between 24-26c with regular pumpovers to enhance colour and flavour extraction.

Ripe red cherries and raspberry follow through on an elegant, fruit-driven, yet dry palate.

Delightful slightly chilled, but also pairs well with Brai and Bunny Chow.
