Les Vins Contés, VDF "P`tit Rouquin"

100% Gamay.

From organically farmed, hand-harvested vines, on the younger side for Vins Contés at around 50 years old. Vins Contés reds are all made similarly: semi-carbonic maceration with whole clusters in closed tanks with CO2; spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts only; aging in fiberglass tank; bottling without fining or filtration in early spring after harvest; no sulfur added at any point. P'tit Rouquin means "little redhead".
