Winemaking - This wine is for their son Bruno. It’s a gorgeous, complex rosado that fizzes with energy, fermented and aged in old American oak. Hand harvested. Whole bunches directly pressed, and the must fermented in used American oak barrels by indigenous yeasts, no correction or adding. Malolactic fermentation took place in the same barrels and ageing on its fine lees for 4 months. Several rackings carried out to remove impurities and solid residues by decantation, without filtering or stabilization, so it is usual and normal, during bottle life that there’ll be some deposits.
What it tastes like - Wonderful, spicy, nutty, rich red cherry, raspberry, orange, zesty fruit, very refreshing, viscous and rich, some grip on the finish. Utterly individualistic Rosé.
