"Clos Ste Hune" Riesling 2017

An exceptional terroir on the Grand Cru Rosacker in Hunawihr, this Clos which has belonged to the Trimbach family for more than two hundred years covers 1.67 hectares.

The more than fifty-year-old vineyard benefits from a south, south-east exposure on a subsoil dominated by Muschelkalk limestone (or shell limestone) and yellow limestone.

Conditions which give this Riesling a specific fragrance and a remarkable concentration of fruit enhanced with a refined hint of minerality at the end of the palate and an incredible length.

The small annual production, 7000 bottles on average, makes it a precious wine coveted by all lovers and collectors of Riesling over the world.

The Clos Sainte Hune, with an exceptional aging potential, does not reach its peak until eight to ten years following its bottling.

High class dry wine, racy, refined, elegant, with very ripe fruit and a very pronounced minerality give it its unique character.
