Isle of Raasay Distillery, Marsala Cask Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This limited release from island distillery Raasay is the first time they have used marsala casks. Lightly peated spirit was fully matured in Frazzitta Marsala Vergine barriques between July 2021 and July 2025.

Tasting Notes

Nose – Grape must, sweet, slight sharpness, parma violets

Palate – Stewed apples, ginger, maple syrup, sweet pear, balsamic vinegar

Finish – Long and lingering smoke
