Thompson Bros, Strathclyde 34 Year Old A Glasgow Dram

Another great value grain release from the Thompson Bros. In the same vein as their 'An Edinburgh Dram', they have released this 34 year old Strathclyde for Scotland's largest city. The label for this limited small batch bottling features a fetching vintage 1938 Glasgow bus map.

Tasting Notes

Nose – Charred banana bread and vanilla pods, with Linzer cookies, citrus zest, orchard fruits, and a hint of Italian Gewürztraminer.

Palate – Luscious plum syrup and crème de pêche, rounded out by herbal tea, camphor, sawdust, toasted coconut chips, and Golden Grahams cereal.

Finish – A smooth drift into notes of Cuban rum.
