Blair Athol's house style is quite heavily sherried. You don't see much of it on the market though, as it all goes in to Bell's blended whisky. Nice wee place, worth a visit if you are staying in Pitlochry (as is our Drinkmonger shop).
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Apricots and raisins, sweetness, tablet, cocoa chocolate, sandal wood and and a dash of smokey embers.
Palate – Red berries, blackcurrants, raisins and a mulled wine note. With a bit more time, grape juice, sandal wood, cumin and paprika.
