Michele Chiarlo 'Reyna' Barbaresco 2019

This elegant and refined garnet coloured wine delivers delicate, complex and refined aromas, with ethereal notes of rose petals and tea layered upon small red berried fruits. On the palate, it is silky and beautifully balanced with soft, fine tannins and remarkable length on the finish.

James' tasting note 28/08/24: The wine opens to a refined palate of bright summer berries with a delicate yet intense mouthfeel.  The finish is bold and long with savoury notes of tobacco and leather.  The tannins are firm and chalky and the wine may benefit from an hour or so in a decanter.
