Martini Riserva Rubino

Given it's scale and ubiquity, it is easy to forget that Casa Martini of Torino (Turin) remains one of the great and venerable companies of Italian artisans, dating back as far as 1847. The Riserva Speciale range is the reminder you might need. This vermouth has base wine made from grapes grown predominantly in Piedmonte, including Nebbiolo from Langhe DOC. This wine is infused with concentrated botanical extracts which have been rested for two months in Piedmontese Tino oak vats prior to use. The botanicals used include Italian Holy Thistle, Red Sandalwood and three types of wormwood: Artemisia absinthium, Artemisia Pontica and Artemisia vulgaris.
