Region: Piemonte, Italy
Winemaking: Harvested in mid-october and fermented for 15 days at 28 degrees. Traditional method of Barolo in large oak barrels, this wine has high tannins and the potential to age up to 20 years. Garnet in colour, sweet spices and dried flowers on the nose, cherry and leather on the palate.
Pair with roasted, skewered, or grilled red meats, risottos, and rich, ripe cheeses.
