Nose: Rich and fruity
Taste: Balanced
Finish: Succulent red fruits
A truly unique gin for a wine-lover looking for something different or for a gin lover that loves wine. We grow Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes in the Distillery’s glasshouse. These grape varieties are traditionally associated with the Champagne region, and create some of the most beautiful wines. We think we have created a truly outstanding gin that combines the best of our gin with our grape harvest.
Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes were harvested by hand in 2021 and then left for a year to soak in our base gin of Juniper, Coriander, Angelica Root and Winter Savory. It has been racked and settled then filtered several times before bottling, with all the colour and flavour coming from the grape jus. The delicate pink colour of the gin this year needed no extra petal infusions it was perfection just as nature intended. Pinot Noir grapes have a lower skin anthocyanin (coloring matter) content than most other classical red/black varieties.
